All things you need to know about SIM card

Phones are important. We use them to chat or message our friends, listen to music, and google strange and wonderful facts. We could get lost without our phone cameras to capture special unexpected moments. But, have you ever stopped and thought it was really the SIM card inside that made all the good things happen?
That little chip completely changes the game. Also, knowing all the trading strategies can help you get the most out of your phone. Here are some common questions about SIM, as well as their answers.
1. What is a SIM card?
The SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module and is a small plastic card inserted into your phone. It is good to be aware of all those online questions. It is also used on smartphones around the world.
2. What does SIM do?
Computer SIM cards capture information and allow you to connect to your network. This means you can make calls, send SMS messages and connect to mobile internet services like 3G, 4G, and 5G. They are also transferable and you can choose to save messages, contacts, and emails in them. So, if you have an accident with your phone and you need to borrow someone else immediately, no problem. Just log in to the SIM card and you can call one of your contacts or use your data. Just make sure they use the same SIM size first.
3. What is stored on the SIM card?
SIMs with an ID number or IMSI representing International Mobile Subscriber Identity. This number identifies the phone to the network. Along with your IMSI, your SIM will also have a different MSISDN. This is a short version of Integrated Mobile Registration Services Network Number. Apart from a complicated name, it is actually your phone number.
They can also store contact details, phone numbers, SMS messages, billing information, and data usage. Also, your SIM will have a personal identification number (PIN) to protect you from theft.

6. How to remove SIM card from your iPhone
To remove the SIM, you will first need to find the SIM tray. For most models, this will be on the right. But with the Original iPhone, the iPhone 3GS, or iPhone 3G, will be on top.
Once you have found it, insert something like a piece of paper into the hole next to the tray and press gently. The tray should loosen easily, and you can insert a new SIM. If you have problems, take your device to your local phone or Apple store. They would be happy to help.
7. Insert a SIM card into your iPhone

Indicate where the notch is and place your SIM tray, so that it fits snugly. Then push the tray back to the device.
8. How to remove SIM card from your Samsung
First, check that your Samsung phone has a removable back cover. Phones from 2014 or earlier will be able to, but if you have a new phone it should have a closed battery.

Insert the output PIN into the SIM tray port.
Gently pull the SIM tray open and remove the SIM card.
9. How to save contacts on your SIM card
It’s easy to save your contacts if you have enough space on your card and your phone has this option.
First, go to your address book by selecting ‘Menu’ and then ‘Contacts’.
Select ‘Options’ and ‘Settings’.
Now select ‘Copy to Phone / SIM’ with any similar options such as ‘Move to phone / SIM’ and ‘Save contacts to SIM’.
It will usually take a few minutes to complete. Some phones may ask you to select contacts if they cannot delete them all at once. If you select ‘copy’ instead of ‘submit’, you will see each contact showing twice. This is because one list is stored on your SIM and the other on your phone.
