Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah celebrated the last Eid-ul-Adha of Pakistan in Karachi on Saturday, October 25, 1947, in the 72nd day of his life after the country was liberated. Eid al-Adha is celebrated with full religious respect in the homeland of Pakistan on Monday 12th August 2019 along with Alam Islam. This is the 73rd Eid-ul-Adha, which is being coincidentally celebrated in the month of Independence. When Eid ul Adha was celebrated for the first time in Azad Pakistan, Pakistan came into existence on August 14, 1947, in the middle of the last century, on Saturday, October 25, 1947, the first occasion when Eid al-Qurban was celebrated for the first time.
The nation got this opportunity for the first and last time when the founding leader of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was present among all Pakistanis in the homeland. On the other hand, this was the last time in history that 20,000 pilgrims from Pakistan and India had jointly gone to receive the pilgrimage in 20 ships. It was not long before Pakistan was established, the wounds of mistreatment with Muslims in India were fresh, news of the atrocities and occupation of Muslims were spreading constantly from many places including Kashmir.
On this occasion, the festival of Eid Qurban and Hindu community was coming on the same date, the government was alert at the time of the situation. On this occasion, common measures were taken to maintain religious harmony.
A day earlier in Karachi, the capital of the capital against the appeal of peacekeeping puppets was dropped by planes across the city. On Saturday, October 25, 1947, on the first Eid-ul-Adha, Quaid-e-Azam was very excited, and with his staff arrived at the Eidgah Maidan at 8.30 pm to observe the arrangements before the Eid prayer. A beautiful evening was organized in the field while the police were kept alert throughout the city, the Eid prayer was held at 10 am on Eidgah Maidan Bandar Road.
On the Eid-ul-Azha day, Federal and Ministers from Sindh and Sindh province joined the prayer, after which Eid-ul-Qadri took the salute from the Pak army at the Eidgah Maidan, special preparations were made for the event. Federal and provincial Sindh ministers, including Governor Sindh Sheikh Ghulam Hussain Hedayatullah, were present on the occasion of the salute. When a military contingent passed in front of Quaid-e-Azam, the Eid-ul-Fitr ground was echoing with slogans, Pakistan Air Force planes flying in the air, which also appealed to the peacekeeper, after the army salute, Governor Sindh saluted the police.
